a. Contact vs Case
Contact
A Contact may be Personal or Corporate and represents the Person or Organization.
Case
A Case represents the specific application/case being worked on for your contact. Your contact may have multiple applications/cases. Creating a case will automatically generate the contact, making this the fastest option to get started.
b. Prospect vs Client
Prospect
All Cases start as a Prospect record. A Prospect represents a tentative client that has not yet retained your services.
Client
You may convert a Prospect record to a Client record once they have retained your services.
c. Website Integrations
Web Assessments
Conduct assessments directly from your website using our web assessment forms. If you need assistance, we'll provide the steps for integration.
Calendars
Integrate calendars on your website to let your clients book appointments and process payments for consultations using our built-in payment processor.
d. Compliance
CaseEasy complies with the Client File Management requirements as outlined by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants.
CaseEasy also aligns with the Canada Bar Association and enforces industry standards for the secure storage of client records within Canada.
e. Cyber Security and Privacy
CaseEasy implements robust security measures to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability (CIA) of client records. We prioritize privacy by adhering to stringent data protection standards, ensuring that personal and sensitive information remains confidential, secure, and free from unauthorized access and breaches. Our commitment guarantees that client data is used solely for its intended purposes.
Below are the standards we have adopted:
End-to-end encryption using AES-256 standard (Bank-grade encryption)
PIPEDA and ISO/IEC 27001 Standards
Daily and incremental backups
Disaster recovery through redundancy geo-locations
f. Automated Backups (optional)
CaseEasy offers automated backups to third-party sources you integrate, currently supporting Google Drive and Dropbox. This feature backs up all your client files in an organized manner. This ensures you always have access to your client records through a third-party service.
💡Backups are automated and contain your client's Documents, Forms, Invoices, and Service Agreements.
This backup feature is optional based on your preferences as CaseEasy already stores backups on our cloud servers.
