  1. What is the difference between Task and Workflow?

    1. Tasks are internal and provide you and your team with the various tasks that must be done for the client's application.

    2. Workflows are high-level stages that can be shared with client so they can track the various stages of their application.

  2. Can I upload files directly to the IRCC or PR Portals?

    1. Unfortunately, not yet. You will need to download the files and upload them to the government portals as you normally would. For online-only programs, you will need to copy and paste your client details into the online forms on the government portals.

  3. Are there any file limits?

    1. Yes, the maximum file size allowed is 30 MB. Many government programs also enforce smaller file size limits, so please advise your clients to optimize their files before uploading.

  4. What if I cancel my subscription, what happens to my data?

    1. Once your subscription is cancelled, you will lose access to the portal immediately, and your data will be subject to deletion after 3 months of inactivity.

  5. If I move files from Outlook or any other Email service, will that impact my emails in CaseEasy?

    1. Yes, CaseEasy connects to your integrated Email provider and searches for emails in the Inbox and Sent folders, if you move the original emails, CaseEasy will no longer have access to these emails.
